Human Instruments Collection offers chairs for desk work, home office and dining, that promote
movement and variation to keep the body in its natural state of activity. The unconventional design keeps
the spine in its natural curvature and the spinal disks dynamic; blood circulation is active and oxygen supply

kitchen to living room. Enhance your journey with the Actulum™ or Pendulum™ – instruments designed to
move along with you, guiding and supporting your body as you go.
As you move backwards for relaxation and forwards to be active, the runners allow the chair to tilt with your body.
Leaning forward, the body needs to find its own equilibrium which keeps the back muscles working and avoids tensions
in back and shoulders. When leaning backwards, your body can rest while your spine is supported correctly. The tilting
action of the runners facilitates an angle between your thighs and torso, which is greater than 90 degrees.
Together with the ‘dynamic sitting’, this allows you to breathe more deeply, improving both concentration
and relaxation – whether you are working at a desk or being social with friends and family around the dinner table.

The Wing balans® promotes active sitting and keeps you breathing deeply, giving your energy levels and powers
of concentration an invaluable boost. The Wing balans® supports you in the open balans® ‘kneeling’ posture
instead of the erect or right-angled posture imposed by traditional office chairs. This creates a balanced torso
and allows your spine to find its natural curve while strengthening your back muscles. With an open angle
between torso and thighs breathing and thus oxygen supply is enhanced. The casters make it ideal for work that
