Peel wraps your body in protective layers, creating a haven of calm. It is adjustable to your bodyweight,
and responds to every shift in weight to move you effortlessly into the next position. The smaller Peel Club
version ensures that this unique design can suit any space.
The structure of the Peel chair has been influenced by the shape and function of a falling orange peel. Its purpose
is to protect its contents, to embrace them and care for them.
Peel is elegant and comfortable and offers a high degree of well-being. The chair is flexible and follows your
body’s movements. A double spring system allows smooth shifting between positions for perfect relaxation.
Peel has 360° rotation and three distinct positions for sitting and resting.
With just a simple shift of your body weight, you can move into the next position. As Peel has a fixed angle
between the seat and the backrest, the chair will support your body properly, independent of your sitting position.
An elegant footrest is designed to make it easy to remain comfortable in the chair
You may recline without slipping forwards or backwards – the movement is in the tilting mechanism, and not

Tok is a balance of Japanese and Scandinavian style. Its graceful curves evoke a feeling of serenity and
encourage you to vary your posture, for hours of peaceful relaxation.
We at Variér® believe in perfectionism. We believe in evolution and constant development so that we change
in accordance with the needs and demands of our customers. Therefore we re-launch the Tok chair in 2010.
The idea of the chair is the same – a beautiful masterpiece combining Scandinavian and Japanese handcraft;
a design item which is comfortable into the late hours of the day.
The new Tok chair comes with a satin chromed, four-legged metal cross which will create a even more clean
and delicate look in any room. Furthermore, the chair is standard-delivered with a fully adjustable neck rest,
which makes it possible to adjust the reclining angle both horizontally and vertically.
The Tok will also be available in two new wooden colours; a "hot-red" lacquer which will make a lasting impression
in combination with any red fabric or leather upholstery; or a white, angel-pure finish that would blend perfectly
with our new, full-white leather colour.
As an exclusive offer in this re-introduction period we also offer the Tok chair with a hand-cut,
finely draped Paul Smith fabric in combination with black wood. The Tok will also be available in mocca,
oak and walnut, and may be combined with fabrics such as Crusvik, Mira, Highfield or leather.
Tok is the perfect place for active relaxation. The chair has a fixed angle between the seat and the backrest.
Independent of your sitting position, the recliner will always support your body properly whilst providing support

to understand the human body, Date feels as though it were made just for you.
Date combines smooth, clear design with high quality and superior seating comfort. You can change sitting
positions smoothly and achieve the freedom and movement necessary to feel relaxed and comfortable due
to the tilting mechanism hidden underneath upholstery and delicate fabric or leather.
The chair is very open, with no armrests, thus providing space for all sizes of people.
The zipper down the back of the chair represents a stylish design element, contrasting the smooth and soft
lines of the rest of the chair. The zipper also makes it easy to clean or change fabrics when needed.

is as flexible as you are, moving with you right around the clock.
Variér® Eight is a bar stool / high kitchen chair with a comfort that can not be found in any other
comparative products. It has a high back for greater comfort; it can be tilted forwards and backwards
as well as swivelled at 360 degrees. The chair is furthermore height adjustable, so that it fits with
different table heights, as well as adapting to the height of the person. The foot rest follows the rotation in the chair,
providing support in any position The hidden tilting-mechanism (4° forwards and 13° backwards) allows you to
sit freely and relaxed for hours. Suitable for kitchen islands, bars and lobbies, or cafés and lounge areas

Human Design Evolution
Come nightfall, the robust Variér® Penguin migrates effortlessly from kitchen to dining room. Its ice-cool
elegance is tempered by the warm glow of relaxation cast by this most flexible chair.
Variér® Penguin has an extraordinary shape that represents an evolutionary step within furniture design.
The shape of the chair has a functional intention, offering rest for the arms. The armrests resembles the
flippers of penguins, hence the name.
The transverse steel tubes that attach the chassis are not fixed in place. This allows the chair to roll gently
forwards and backwards, enabling correct posture for the body when leaning forwards against a table or a
smooth flex when resting in the backwards position.
An easy-to-clean chair with an extragavant design which is suitable for cantinas, small conference rooms,
kitchens and hobby-rooms, or simply as an eye-catcher in a reception area.

Sven Ivar Dysthe developed the Planet in 1965 and it now appears as part of the Varièr® range
– still as elegant and user friendly – yet now with functional improvements that make it even more
comfortable and functional than before.When re-launching Planet a unique and patented mechanism was added.
The mechanism allows you to tilt the seat adding a new dimension to the movement of the Planet.
You can tilt forwards and backwards, the chair follows your body. The patented tilting mechanism ensures
comfortable sitting with smooth changing of positions. You can lean forward, sit upright at ease and lean
backwards when you need to stretch. You are able to move freely; easily change sitting positions and
achieve the freedom and movement necessary to feel relaxed and comfortable.

Thought-provoking in the Ekstrem. A bold, unconventional form overturns convention and points the
way to the future of design. Extreme freedom for the mind, extreme freedom for the body.
Ekstrem is modern and functional. It’s distinguished by its design purity and stands out by virtue of its
unconventional construction.
The Ekstrem was developed as a prototype in 1972 by Terje Ekstrom. The chair was commercialised
12 years later, in a time where new designers tried to break with existing norms within Scandinavian furniture.
The sculptural shape makes the chair a real 80's icon and a true ambassadeur of post modernistic design.
Ekstrem is a static chair, nevertheless with the possibilities of movement and variation that Variér®
holds as key principles. The open structure allows you to sit forward with feet on the ground, sideways
with legs calmly placed on the armrests, or completely backwards with the front of the torso against the
chair's back. The unconventional shapes invite your fantasy to let go of existing norms.
